From idea to shipped product

Founders bring me a rough idea; I hand back a live, revenue-ready product — Design, Development and Deployment. The whole thing, one person, done right.

The offer

You don't need to hire a team of five. You need one engineer who owns the outcome.

01 / 05

Product & UX design

Turn a fuzzy idea into clear flows and interfaces that feel obvious to use — not just wireframes, but the real, polished thing.

Production web apps built front to back in modern frameworks — fast, typed, tested, and maintainable long after launch.

The plumbing your product runs on: APIs, databases, auth, and billing wired up to be reliable and secure.

Infra & deployment

Get it live, keep it fast, keep it up. Pipelines, environments, and monitoring so shipping is boring and safe.

Open source

I don't just build on open source — I  help build it.

I'm a regular open-source contributor across the Vue ecosystem and beyond. Most of that work lives in Vuetify — the Vue UI framework trusted by millions — where I've hardened form components and pushed on accessibility. I've also shipped features and fixes to vee-validate, expressa, and other tools developers rely on every day.

How it works

A tight loop from idea to live product.

No months-long specs, no handoff black holes. We move in short cycles — you see real, working software early, and it's in front of users fast.

  1. 01

    Discover

We get clear on the business, the users, and what a win actually looks like — before a line of code.

  2. 02

    Design & prototype

A clickable, real prototype fast, so we're reacting to something concrete instead of arguing over docs.

  3. 03

    Build & ship

Production-grade build, deployed and live. Real infrastructure, not a throwaway demo.

  4. 04

    Iterate

Measure against real usage, then improve on a weekly cadence. Launch is the starting line.

AI-native

AI makes every step faster — more prototypes in a day, fewer weeks to a working build, tighter iteration once you're live. I use it to move at a pace that used to take a whole team. The judgment about what to build is still human, and that's where I earn my keep.

About

Hi, I'm Ishan. I've been shipping software since I was a teenager.

Ishan Subedi, product engineer, at work
Kathmandu, Nepal · GMT+5:45

Started with QBASIC games as a kid and never stopped. Eventually I was the person staying up past midnight because a bug was more interesting than sleep.

Since then I've shipped for founders and teams across Switzerland, the US, and beyond as a Top Rated freelancer. Today I work as a product engineer who owns the whole life cycle — design, code, infrastructure, and whether it actually works for real people.

  • Own it Accountable for the outcome, not just the task.
  • Ship it Real software in front of users, early and often.
  • Say it straight Clear, honest communication — no surprises.

In their words

Founders and teams trust me with the whole thing.

Ishan picked tasks up in a timely manner and communicated complex challenges with ease. What I most enjoyed is that I could trust him as a person, and the speed he familiarized himself with new technologies and challenges. Your team will thrive with Ishan.
Jalal Fathi Jalal Fathi Founder & Chief Podkiter, Podkite
A very communicative and professional developer. Manages expectations incredibly well, keeps his promises, and writes faultless, very clean code. Highly recommended.
Kees Van Velzen Kees Van Velzen Managing Director, Learnforce
Ishan redesigned my landing page in a single day. He has a great sense of design and writes beautiful code. I'm impressed.
Nikita Kutselev Nikita Kutselev Senior Big Data DevOps Engineer
We really liked working with Ishan. He worked fast and well, understood our requirements easily, and even made suggestions of his own.

Have an idea worth building? Let's ship it.

Tell me what you're trying to build. I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person, how I'd approach it, and what it would take to get it live. No hard sell — just a straight conversation.
